An absolute nonsense with a strange reorganization of the genres. Director Ted Nicolaou made slight progress in terms of design with the second part, but wanted to continue that line in an epic way in the wrong way with this new series addition. The drama is significantly increased at the expense of the horror and that is not what a series like Subspecies benefits from. The poor acting results, among other things, in uninteresting relationships and nonsense that goes on endlessly. Almost an entire hour is spent exploring the characters in depth, before (finally) revealing the somewhat creepier finale. Anders Hove's character has now been extinguished and the story does little other than stretch itself unnecessarily and reintroduce familiar content elements. A major mistake by Nicolaou in a series that has not delivered high quality anyway, which adds further insult to injury.
