"It's a split second between hit or miss."
Vietnam veteran and former intelligence officer William Lancing is the penpal of a 13-year-old Polish orphan girl, whom he supports financially. From one day to the next contact is broken. Lancing discovers that the program he supports is actually a people-smuggling organization. He conducts his own investigation to stop these illegal practices.

What a hopeless movie! A plot to cry about, acting that doesn't impress them at GTST, Seagal who can't even get a decent fight scene out of it, SFX to get the giggles, with the absolute low point being the dubbing!

So bad it gets fun? For half an hour anyway, after that there is not much fun to be had. The script is already laughable. If you think for a second, smooth old American has pen pal relationship with young Polish girl. How did this even get through the inspection? The acting is lousy and, above all, completely emotionless, and the whole film feels like it's 20 years older, one of those cheap b-movies where the music is also somewhat added and mixed away in the background. Not to mention that crook on duty. Visually there is one nice shot in between a colonnade and the location at the end is nice, but otherwise not fun, not exciting and without great action. 1.0*.
