DEA Agent John Hatcher has just returned from Colombia, where his partner was murdered by a drug dealer. Because of this incident, John has decided to put an end to his career. However, when he gets into a shooting spree with drug lord Screwface, who then tries to kill his sister and her daughter, John gets back to work. Together with two old friends, he goes in search of Screwface.

10 years ago this was my ultimate Steven Seagal favorite, not only did I think this was Seagal's best movie but it even stayed in my top 10 for a while.
Times change, your taste changes with it and the great movie I thought this was then has descended a bit now. 
That does not alter the fact that this film is still very entertaining, lots of action scenes and also beautifully portrayed and a Seagal who actually made an effort to act convincingly, he does not always succeed in this but I have him a lot to do worse in the following years.
Even now this film is still thoroughly entertaining, keep your mind at 0 and let yourself be carried away in all the violence and the typical Seagal one-liners.
No, no more 5 stars, but 3.5 will definitely remain.

Marked for Death is a Seagal movie as it should be for him. This was still somewhat quality before all the pulp was made. Wonderful movie.
