Floris plot
The film revolves around the grandson of the famous knight Floris from the legendary TV series from 1969. Floris Jr. (Michiel Huisman) wants to prove to his father that he too can be a hero by ensuring that the holy relic with miraculous powers never enters. will end up in the wrong hands. Together with Pi (Birgit Schuurman), Floris Jr. takes on the Duchess of Gelre (Linda van Dyck), Van Rossum Jr. (Daan Schuurmans), Kleine Pier and Sergeant Jr. (Kees Boot).

Michiel Huisman is no Rutger Hauer. With that everything has been said about this mediocre attempt to breathe new life into Floris. The atmosphere of yesteryear is little more, in this version there are a lot of stupid characters walking around making silly jokes and performing stupid stunts. Youth sentiment down the drain...

I think Rutger Hauer is ashamed of this film and certainly of Michiel Huisman who had to play his part. What a bagger. I wouldn't be surprised if this movie hits the flop list soon. The film is also completely destroyed by Daan Schuurmans. I haven't watched this movie all the way through otherwise I'm afraid I'd hurt myself.

What is this again... visually it actually looks good (except for those wigs and mediocre effects), but in terms of content. Seriously, who the hell made this. It seems as if the film is a dubbing of some vague German youth film, or so I thought for a moment. There had been so many residents, with those locations and all, but the result is really monstrous. So badly recorded, acted, thought it almost hurts.
Haha, the music is by John Ewbank. So King's Song is not his only fault.
The attempts at humor also make no sense. The comrades should be ashamed of themselves. Just a rape of the great series by Paul Verhoeven. (in my memory he was better, but now that I see him on NPO3). It just makes you gloomy when you see Dutch people screw up like that in the film world. Because there were so many possibilities with this movie, but do it right...
