Last week, in fact, I saw Avatar in its entirety for the first time. It's a movie full of imaginative elements and a whole new world called Pandora. Humanity is looking for a very valuable rock. The only problem is that the Na'vi's village is above the bedrock.

Through dream sleep paralyzed Marine veteran Jake Sully becomes a Na'vi and can make contact. You can see how it all goes in the movie.

The story is actually somewhat predictable even though the film is very imaginative. I thought that was a bit of a shame. The special effects and the beautiful colors are breathtaking. I couldn't have said that this was Zoe Saldana in the role of Neytiri.

It looks really good, don't get me wrong that a lot of time and work, not to mention the colossal budget, has undoubtedly gone into it.

Animation, I just don't care, a pretty thin story that lasts very long. And meanwhile I'm just thinking... fake... fake... fake... I just can't take it series.

But what I always think with a chuckle when the title of this film is mentioned is that it was presented with a lot of drumming for the Oscar best film and that Cameron lost this to his wife with a film that had a very low budget. The proof as far as I'm concerned, you can make a film at any price, a good and fascinating story cannot.
