Mousehunt plot

"Who's hunting who?"

On the death of their father, Ernie and Lars Smuntz inherit a ceramic egg, an almost empty case of Cuban cigars, some faded silver spoons, an old cord factory and a dilapidated house that lies lopsided on an almost immeasurable plain. A few days later, Ernie loses all that was left to him, his French restaurant and Lars has to sit and watch as his factory is taken over by mutinous workers. The two brothers, who are forced to take refuge in the parental hovel, learn that this is one of the last gems of nineteenth-century architecture. The 'shack' can, if restored, bring them ten to twenty million dollars. But the Smuntzen are not the only residents of the building.

Entertaining/funny family movie that is sure to make you laugh. The film is intended as it is intended, and is well done. Some scenes definitely made me laugh. So this was quite a nice viewing experience. Nice movie so good for a 3.5.

The film fits perfectly with the Home Alone series in terms of genre.

He contains a lot of humor: Slapstick, but also a lot of situation humor. The cast was also perfectly chosen and the cute mouse topped it off.

Visually, the film was also finished. It looked very good, especially for a family film. For the rest, the story was not that special, but still entertaining to keep you glued to your screen for a small 100 min.

I really enjoyed it, a must for young and old

While watching this movie, I thought it was a later date and was surprised that Walken still looked so young.
Anyway, this was released 18 years ago, so it's no surprise that the above looked a bit younger.
The above also managed to portray the (in my opinion) most entertaining character of the film, although his role turned out not to be very big.
Furthermore, the two brothers especially know how to entertain when they are on a mouse hunt. For example, I liked the scene with the nail gun and the scene with the vacuum cleaner was extra funny. The latter was partly due to a story I had heard quite recently that also related to a mouse and the hunt with the vacuum cleaner. Very coincidental and funny that they also included this in this film.
Furthermore, the plot makes the film somewhat predictable, but in such a film I don't think this is immediately a disaster.
Nice for once.
