Palmer and his Indian friend Gopal are captured by the Maharaja of Kasnabad who believes they belong to the sect that kidnapped his grandson. The dancer Amrita frees them with the aim of handing them over to the cult. However, she falls in love with Palmer and this prevents her from carrying out her assignment.
