"Cops or no cops I'm going through!"
In the 1930s, three inmates escape in Mississippi. One of them is the young Bowie who has just finished seven years in prison. He hopes to prove his innocence or lead a quiet life in the mountains with his beloved. However, the two others manage to persuade him to commit some robberies and soon the police think he is their leader.
