Hikayatul Jawahiri Thalath plot

Twelve-year-old Palestinian Youssef lives with his mother and sister in a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. To escape the daily violence around him, Youssef takes refuge in all kinds of dreams. He meets the gypsy girl Aida whom he falls in love with. Youssef proposes to marry her, but Aida sets her conditions: Youssef must manage to recover the three diamonds that have disappeared from the family jewel that Aida's grandfather brought back from South America at the time.
