Die Unberührbare plot
Hanna Flanders, a well-known East German writer in the 1960s, sees the revolution taking place from a distance. She considers committing suicide, but instead travels to Berlin after the fall of the wall in 1989. She is deeply disappointed in the joy of the people after the fall, because she saw the communist system as a good thing, which has now been overthrown. In the present joy, she finds no one who shares her opinion, so she goes back to Munich.
