A group of friends sets off for a dream vacation filled with parties and cage diving with sharks. During a sea excursion, they become unwittingly involved in their guide's criminal activities. When the situation escalates, they must not only escape their attackers but also survive among the deadly sharks.

There are far worse shark movies than this one; I actually enjoyed myself. And Banderas is always fun; this role suited him well. The actresses weren't great and, to be honest, a bit unbelievable in their lightning-fast solutions to everything, but it is forgiven.

A fairly average thriller. The story isn't particularly substantial and has some plot holes. The execution is quite flat, lacking any ingenuity or depth, making it very predictable. The film starts off quite nicely and fresh but quickly devolves into a mediocre thriller, never really generating nerve-wracking suspense. Visually, it is reasonably well done, and in some scenes, the sharks look quite realistic. The acting is passable. Banderas does portray his familiar character again. 2.5
