In 1992, a dream came true for Rowwen Hèze: performing on the main stage at Pinkpop. The young, energetic guys from back then are now older, wiser, and naturally no longer as energetic or carefree as they once were, but their breakthrough hit "Bestel Mar" remains a regular fixture for the band. Lenssen follows the band from six months leading up to their annual "final party," which, in this anniversary year (the band will be celebrating its 40th anniversary), is intended to be bigger and more spectacular than ever. Band members share their personal stories and the ups and downs of the band. Singer and songwriter Jack Poels reflects on how his hometown (and hometown) once dedicated itself to helping his father, who suffers from MS, get a "cart" and is challenged to write a song about his father. A beautiful, honest portrait of a seasoned band and a close-knit group of friends.
