In 2010, Raoul Moat was the subject of a major week-long manhunt in northeast England after killing his ex-girlfriend, her new partner, and a police officer. Police were unable to locate Moat, who hid nearby and continued to threaten violence, for a week. What followed was a confrontation with a tragic outcome.
