In July 2021, the flooding of the Vesdre and Ourthe rivers wreaked havoc in Wallonia. The victims were primarily poor people living in old, often dilapidated houses. Three years later, many who lost their homes are still unsure of their permanent residence. This documentary, dedicated to the victims, follows several of them via fly-on-the-wall interviews during formal and informal conversations where emotions can run high. A dryly narrated yet ethically made film that will remind many people in the Netherlands of the aftermath of earthquakes in Groningen.
