Andy and her team of immortal warriors are tasked with a new purpose to protect the world. Hmm, a bit of hack and slash. Sometimes with swords, sometimes with an axe. But a lick my vest story. 1 wasn't much but 2 is even worse.

Reasonable sequel. The story is not very good and hangs together like loose sand. But after part 1 the expectations were not high. The elaboration is quite successful until the end. Tension and action follow each other at a nice pace. The action scenes look very good with great fights. The ending is a bit disappointing where the whole film can be seen more as a run-up to part 3. Visually well done. The acting is otherwise ok, with a great mutual chemistry. Thurman on the other hand does not really get off the ground. 3.0/3.5

Mediocre sequel to very mediocre source material. A unique concept is also developed in this second chapter by director Victoria Mahoney with such a serious tone that it takes all the fun out of the content. Charlize Theron's acting seems uninspired and especially uninterested, just like the camera work during the explosive action scenes. Fortunately, the makers add Veronica Ngo to the whole, who with her background manages to provide a reasonably interesting angle. The location change is also quite frequent, but the whole is simply not interesting or amusing enough to justify a second part at all.
