Fairly predictable and by-the-book film.
You can see all the standard clichés coming from miles away, but if you don't mind that and are in the mood for a feel-good movie, then just turn it on.

In terms of atmosphere and tone it's okay, Carson is a nice lead and plays charmingly. But the film is too often silent and really takes way too long for what she wants to tell. Especially the second hour often doesn't really manage to captivate with that. The film really isn't bad and the decor is also quite nice but the film surprises too little in the end. If it had been shorter I could have given it a sufficient, now the verdict falls the wrong way. 2.5*.
