Too Funny to Fail: The Life & Death of the Dana Carvey Show plot
This documentary takes a look at the successes and humorous missteps of a show that brought together an astonishing array of future comedy giants before they were household names. Featuring interviews with Dana Carvey, Robert Smigel, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert and many more, the film explores the show’s origins as the brainchild of two of Saturday Night Live’s most beloved performers. While the show had a short lifespan on TV, it also explores its legacy and a confirmation that, in art, taking risks is always worth it.
