Sensation of the Century plot

Documentary about the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. It consists mainly of footage from the documentary Tokyo Olympiad, directed by Kon Ichikawa. As early as 1936, Tokyo had been chosen to host the 1940 Games, but they were later assigned to Helsinki due to the Japanese invasion of China. In the end, the 1940 Games were canceled due to the outbreak of World War II. The 1964 Games were the first to be held in Asia.
