“The Nan Goldin of Soviet Prague,” was the name given to photographer Libuše Jarcovjáková by The New York Times. Since the late 1960s, she has been taking raw photos of marginalized groups and regularly turning the camera on herself. Yet it was only recently that her artistic merit was internationally recognized. When she was invited to exhibit her work by the Les Rencontres d'Arles photo festival in 2019, she delved into her archives.
