When the socially withdrawn Yoko hears that her father has died, her cousin gives her a ride to her childhood home in Aomori Prefecture. Reluctantly, Yoko begins her journey. She cannot avoid strange encounters and dangerous situations, as well as apparitions of her father, whom she has not spoken to for twenty years.
