Speed of Happiness plot

This documentary is set in Oze, Japan. In this nature reserve there are a number of mountain huts that are open from May to October. The huts can only be reached on foot and go through a swampy area. The huts are supplied by bokkas, men who trudge up and down the hill with a large number of heavy packs of sometimes 100 kilos on their backs. We follow the lives of the two bokkas Igarashi and Ishitaka and get to know their family and see how they prepare for their hard work.
