Chip an' Dale plot
Donald needs a log for his fire. Unfortunately, the tribe he chooses is occupied by a few squirrels and their supply of acorns. When he cuts down the trunk, Chip and Dale fall out, but their acorns are left behind, so they try to put out Donald's fire and get their supply back.

Not the first animation featuring Chip & Dale, but here they do get their familiar names and characters. Naturally, they clash with Donald, which would happen quite often. The hot-tempered duck is suitable for a sort of bad guy in this story. Chip & Dale's characters are somewhat reminiscent of Laurel & Hardy. Their characters would be refined a bit later on. The story is fun, but I did feel something was missing. Although there isn't much room, of course, in this type of short animation.
