Master i Margarita plot

In 1930s Moscow, a famous writer is censored by the Soviet state: his novel is banned and the premiere of his new play about Pontius Pilate is cancelled. In just a few days he becomes an outcast. Inspired by these setbacks, the writer comes up with a new novel in which the devil, named Woland, satirically takes revenge on everyone responsible for the writer's downfall.
