Sixteen-year-old Lindy is ready for her first sexual experience with her boyfriend Adam. But during her first visit to the gynecologist to get a prescription for birth control, she is shocked to learn that she has a congenital condition often associated with intersex. This usually results in an underdeveloped vagina and uterus. The condition significantly limits her ability to have sex and eliminates her ability to become pregnant. After this news, Lindy tries to think of alternative solutions and shuts out the people who love her.

Daring dramedy about the struggles of an intersex teenager. Director/writer Molly McGlynn based the story on her own experiences. Quite a heavy theme that, thanks to her direction and the convincing performance of protagonist Maddie Ziegler, still comes across as rather light-hearted. An excellent film about an unusual subject.
