How Deep Is the Ocean plot
Eleanor, a young woman, arrives in Melbourne. She only has the clothes she is wearing. Furthermore, she has a bit of money and a difficult past that she prefers not to talk about. She moves into a dilapidated boarding house on the outskirts of the city. She has difficulty finding her way in this new environment. Boring jobs and a pointless affair with a married neighbor don't help.
