"Never trust what you see."

Julia has to replace another actress at the last minute during the dress rehearsal of the 1890 play The Turn of the Screw. She has to go on stage immediately after arriving at the theater to play her role. Julia soon begins to think that not only the house in the play is haunted, but also the theater.
