Fourteen-year-old Tobi has to spend the summer holidays in Slovenia because his mother has an exhibition there. He isn't really looking forward to a holiday without his father and his friends and things don't get any better when he is bullied by a group of young people because of his skin color. But everything changes when he meets a blind astronomer who explains the laws of space, which also appear to apply to Earth.
