Vintage Print plot

An old photograph forms the starting point of the director's research. The picture must have been taken towards the end of the 19th century, when film had just been invented and pictures were just beginning to move. Its origin lies in a transition phase between the still and the moving image. By making a wide variety of duplications of a single image, he tries to translate it into the temporary and contemporary character of film.
