"Worth living for. Worth dying for."
While conducting a rescue mission to evacuate a group of missionaries from a village in Afghanistan during the 2021 US military withdrawal, a SEAL team helicopter is shot down by a group of insurgents. Commander-in-Chief Richard Mirko is ejected from the wreckage and remains the only survivor. Mirko continues his search for the missionaries, and finds a 5-year-old girl and vows to save her.

Nice action movie. The story is simple and reminiscent of a Lone Survivor. The implementation is quite successful. The film only takes a bit on the long side, so that at a certain point it is enough and the monotony takes the upper hand. Furthermore, excellent mindless entertainment with reasonable action scenes. Not high-quality or original, but just plain blasting where the opposing party never seems to have their sights sharp. The acting was not disappointing and Strong is great in his cool role. Nice snack. 3.0

Watched it today on DVD and have to say that I enjoyed this film.
In this film we follow the protagonist who is all alone in the wilderness looking for possible survivors of a helicopter crash, but it soon turns out that no one is alive anymore, only a 5-year-old girl (Zoe) who he takes with him and will take care of.
The film has a lot of shootings, almost no fighting unfortunately, sometimes a bit monotonous and boring, but it still flows a bit with a lot of shootings and chases by the Taliban, the entire film is tense and you still want to know how this ends and an exciting addition is also that he has to take care of the girl and keep her close to him.
The last half hour takes place in a kind of village where all the bad guys can be found and there are also a lot of shootings.
You can guess the ending and think it is a successful ending!
All in all, an entertaining action/war film with beautiful images of nature/forests, quite a bit of tension, but still a bit on the boring side.
Nice to see!
