One of Jane Campion's first, if not debut film. A short film about a rather tense car ride along dull, sweltering Australian roads. Nobody really feels like it and it's not relaxing or fun in the least. Everyone gets on everyone's nerves. It's only a matter of time before things escalate. It's just a pity that it doesn't work in the end. It ends with a fizzle and that is an anticlimax.
