Mediocre film about two friends who do criminal jobs for their employer. The film starts well and also contains some nice action scenes. However, the plot is hardly interesting and it does not help that the film lacks the necessary focus. This makes this a somewhat long-winded film, although it is no punishment to see Adèle Exarchopoulos at work here.

Apparently based on the comic 'La Grande Odalisque'. Not that I have read it, and after seeing this film there is a homeopathic chance that that will ever happen again, because although the film itself is quite bad, the script is by far its weakest point. And then certainly the ending.

But also beyond that. As a director, Laurent makes a whole series of very serious mistakes here, and I'm not even talking about the blooper reel during the end credits. Incomprehensible, because she can really direct a seriously good film, and as an actress she has much more to offer than this.

Even for a Netflix, I think this is way below par.

A crime comedy that continually misses the mark in terms of both tension and humor, resulting in a worthless film. Just like the renovation of Isabelle Adjani's face, it was a painful failure, as kappeuter already notes.
