The love for film has already brought about many wonderful things. So is the Bradford film club, a somewhat shabby club for amateur filmmakers, founded in 1932 and still alive and kicking. Or at least… dying after death. The membership of the club decreases every year, while the average age increases. But the love for film - and for each other - keeps the club going.

The 'Bradford Movie Makers' association, founded in 1932, is kept going by a small group of enthusiasts, despite a huge rental distance and a ramshackle, neglected clubhouse where miscreants also dump their rubbish. Colin is the veteran who, despite his physical limitations, sticks to his promise to keep coming 'until his death'; 80-year-old Harry wants the opening scene of Oklahoma! reconstruct (the song 'O What A Beautiful Morning') and play the leading role in it himself, even though he has to ride a horse to do it, which he never did; Joe keeps everyone on their toes with his critical attitude and new member Jeanette has the right impetus to come up with plans that can help the club get out of financial problems. Hopkins fully respects people, also in their private environment, but attempts to emphasize the importance of associational life only succeed sparingly. Entertaining, but not entirely successful in its alleged mission.
