In a misty dreamscape, Tuva rows her little wooden boat from one bourgeois living room to another, fishing for the treasures she earns her living from. She is helped in this by Justino, a superstitious, wary man whose wife, Luvina, feels like a prisoner in her own house and is determined to shoot all the screeching birds out of the sky. When Justino has a terrible accident, Tuvas and Luvinas cross paths as they try to find his corpse before it rots and is devoured by the buzzards.
