Famiria plot
Seiji Kamiya, a potter, has lost his wife prematurely and lives alone in a mountain village. His only son Gaku, who is on a mission in Algeria, marries Nadia, a refugee, and temporarily returns home with her. Seiji opposes Gaku's statement that upon marriage he will quit his job and take over the pottery business. Meanwhile, Marcos, a young Brazilian living in Japan, is interested in pottery because he sees in Seiji the spitting image of his late father. One day, when Gaku and Nadia return to Algeria, disaster strikes.
