Brian Cox: Seven Days on Mars plot
Professor Brian Cox makes a childhood dream come true and takes a look behind the scenes at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the control center for Mars 2020 - one of the most ambitious space missions ever that could finally prove if life ever existed on the red planet. In 1980, a young Brian Cox wrote to JPL asking them to send pictures of their missions to the planets. The photos from the Voyager and Viking missions to Mars that they provided him were a source of inspiration to choose a career as a physicist. Now, more than 40 years later, Brian gets exclusive access to JPL, and gets to go places no camera crew has ever gone before.
