Dit Was Je Leukste Tante Ria plot

She's not crazy. Ria is well aware that she is heading 'towards dementia', she tells her cousin Anneke. That is why she has put up notes so that she knows that Anneke has been to New York and they can talk about it. "Is not it awful. I think I'll have another glass of wine." In the seven years before her death, Anneke follows her headstrong aunt, who may lose her memory, but not her sense of humour. When her cousin isn't visiting, Ria keeps her informed through voicemails and phone calls - her voice increasingly hesitant.
