Scala plot
The first film was shown in Scala in 1966. But in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Thailand's last standalone cinema, housed in Bangkok's Siam Square shopping district, has been forced to close due to lack of visitors. 'Scala' makes us witness to the demolition of the interior and the dismantling of a community, because many employees lived here. They slept, cooked and ate in the dark recesses of the cinema.
