Ride plot
Young worker Mauro Secondari dies while working in a factory. The death stirs up a lot of emotions in a small seaside community a few kilometers from the capital. Carolina, now a widow, on the other hand, cannot cry for her loss. Sitting on the sofa, standing by the window, she looks for the tears that everyone expects from her. Her ten-year-old son, Bruno, is also grieving in his own way. There is only one day left until the funeral where everyone expects a devastated young widow who passes out every two minutes. How can she not disappoint all those people? And above all, how can she not disappoint herself?
