Al Wat Je Ziet plot

What if from one day to the next you are no longer seen, but are watched? The main characters in this layered film have entered a new world where suddenly everything seems strange. In their new life in the Netherlands, they unwittingly evoke reactions on a daily basis. Even after twenty years, the questions keep coming: where are you from, do you speak Dutch, do you tan in the sun? Director Niki Padidar, who left Iran at the age of seven, can talk about it. In this documentary she talks about this with the Somalian Khadija, the English Sophia and Hannah from Ukraine.
