Hedy d'Ancona: Het Persoonlijke Is Politiek plot

Hedy d'Ancona was committed to the women's movement from the late 1960s and worked as a state secretary, minister and EU parliamentarian. The documentary is not only about her life, but about the subjects Hedy has always devoted herself to: women's rights, the right to self-determination and a dignified end of life. Interviews with d'Ancona are interwoven with scenes of women who in 2022 are committed to the same themes, such as abortion activist Eva de Goeij and PvdA alderman Marjolein Moorman. The fight for equality is still relevant and d'Ancona's ideas are still worth fighting for.
