In Making is the Most Beautiful, filmmaker Rolf Orthel analyzes making and creating. Orthel studies the creative process and searches for musicians, artists and actors: what connects them to their work, what are they looking for, how do they work? How did he actually come to make it himself? We see how imagination, play and fun are part of the creative process, but also how young artists put their soul and happiness into their art, have to deal with setbacks, and persevere in spite of everything.
