Louis Armstrong's Black & Blues plot
Louis Armstrong was an American jazz trumpeter, singer, actor and entertainer. Although his career began in the 1920s, even current generations know him from songs such as “What a Wonderful World”, “Hello Dolly” and “It Takes Two to Tango”, which he performed with his distinctive, raucous voice. The story of Armstrong's life is told in this documentary from his own perspective, through never-before-heard personal recordings and archival footage. The film highlights sides of Armstrong that few have yet seen: the musical phenomenon, the civil rights activist and the world-renowned recording artist.
