Most people don't think this is a good movie at all, but I thought it was a nice slow zombie movie that I enjoyed immensely. If only for the beautiful version of "Ne me quitte pas" by Nina Simone. A beautiful song by one of the greatest artists Belgium has ever had, Jacques Brel. Nice movie, but clearly not for everyone...

Slow, gloomy film about a mysterious event in Oslo, Norway, after which the dead come back to life. Initially a drama about mourning, but gradually everything becomes grimmer and the atmosphere shifts towards horror. Coldly and distantly portrayed and more something for the arthouse lovers among us than for the hardcore horror viewer, but I could still do something with it. Based on the book of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist (Låt Den Rätte Komma In).

Slow and vague. That's how you can describe it. Slow burn horror, or drama with light horror elements. Not everyone is waiting for that. You are put to the test and then you have to be satisfied with a mini 'climax'. That's all it is.

Not a spectacular film, but a gloomy film about grieving. Slow and languid, as is also metaphorically the case when you mourn your loved ones. Time stands still for a moment. Difficult to really get in touch with the film. Not quite was my feeling. Still, appreciation for the cinematography, the images, the decor, the approach. Only it didn't always come out. Difficult.
