The Woodsman plot

In the southern town of Nazareth, four girls have disappeared in the past four months. The last victim, Rachel Gilson, is found dead, tied to a tree. The only witness is her 12-year-old daughter Millie, but she can't remember what happened. Depressed detective Alex Whiting is tasked with protecting the girl. He finds himself in a dim world where people worship animals and danger lurks behind every bend in the forest path.
