'The Slow Life of Kees Torn' is a film portrait about comedian, poet, thinker and drinker Kees Torn. Ten years ago he was still in a sold out Luxor Theater, now he has lived a secluded existence for years. He has exchanged the thousand-strong audience for two or three friends with whom he corresponds. In the documentary, filmmaker André van der Hout gains access to his life.
