Sambolico plot
Eric is a successful Finnish conductor, who ends up at the Copacabana after a successful concert in Rio de Janeiro. There he meets a beautiful young Brazilian woman with her boyfriend. On the beach she suddenly addresses him; her boyfriend turns out to be her pimp, and he's not happy. They decide to flee and find themselves in the nightlife of Rio, in nightclubs and in the midst of samba groups preparing for their big performance, alternately enjoying each other and trying to escape her pimp. When Eric wakes up the next morning, however, he can't remember whether it was real or just a dream. But then he meets her and her pimp again.
