"AI Combat Warrior Will be Unleashed."
The 22nd century. Climate change has made the planet uninhabitable. People live in a man-made bomb shelter where a civil war is taking place. Jung-E is the elite leader of the Allied Forces. She becomes the subject of a brain cloning experiment. Seo-hyun, the lab director, and Sang-hun are responsible for the research's success. According to them, the cloning experiment is a potential key to winning the war.

On request: here's my opinion AFTER the film...
The trailer looked way better than the movie itself. Story somewhat ok, but all the graphic splendor of the trailer is somewhat lost in the film. Trailer is a neatly cut compilation but doesn't really reflect the movie itself. Really expected a SF in space and cyberpunk world, genre Elysium. But unfortunately 3/4 of the film takes place in a lab with a lot of exaggerated sentiment that couldn't move me. Only last fifteen minutes brings what I expected: a cyberpunk world and enough action. As if there was a limited budget and everything was put into the last fifteen minutes. The movie itself didn't disappoint me, but I wasn't really impressed either. Will not write the names hereafter, is a bit too complex for me… Leading actress and by that I mean daughter (researcher) I found very boring and not fun to watch. Her mother, however, the cyborg, was much more interesting and could also be there as far as I'm concerned. Contrast a bit too big… I even found the boss of the lab an annoying little man. Other actors a trifle… Am a SF fan and will watch anything on offer, but this one isn't top notch. Found Space Sweepers with the same protagonist many times better. 2.5 *

Poor.
I don't know the director nor am I familiar with 'the' South Korean cinema. At first I had hoped for a smooth action film and although the film starts with five minutes of action, it quickly descends into a boring and sawdy family drama. There are still childish morals and ethical dilemmas thrown at it, but it's all cold porridge. The mediocre acting makes it even worse.
