Leila wa al Ziap plot

Leila, a Lebanese student in exile, struggles against the conformism of the colonial and male view of history. She travels through time and space in search of the collective memory of Palestinian and Lebanese women. Her journey begins in British Mandate Palestine and ends in Lebanon during the Israeli invasion of 1982. Over the course of her musings, her character multiplies, taking on a multitude of female roles.
