A disappointing whodunit with a dull story, mediocre acting, and ditto cinematography. It's been almost a lifetime since Mel Gibson made another compelling film. I secretly hoped Morena Baccarin would liven things up a bit, but the Brazilian beauty barely gets any screen time. A weak film in many ways.

A good film about a former cop who has been living a secluded life for years, until he receives an unexpected visitor. This neo-noir has an entertaining and old-fashioned plot with plenty of progression. The humorous undertone makes it an enjoyable watch. Charlie Hunnam delivers a great performance, and Mel Gibson, of course, does too (although his accent could have been left off).
