A young couple travels the world with their son on their sailboat, to start with a clean slate. Danger lurks in the Gulf of Aden in the form of Somali pirates. When the family makes a stop in Djibouti, she meets black Mike. The family members do not know him, but they quickly appear to trust him. They invite him to travel on their sailboat.
